Nursing Practice Regulation & Licensing
The Board of Nursing licenses and regulates nurses. The Board
of Nursing is comprised of members of the nursing profession and public members
who are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
The Department of Regulation and Licensing (DR&L) is an
umbrella agency providing administrative services to various professional
boards. Within DR&L the Bureau of Health Service Professions provides
administrative services to the Board of Nursing. Questions about board business
