workplace advocacy
| Welcome to the Wisconsin Nurses Association Workforce Advocacy webpage. The WNA Workforce Advocacy Program was developed – to offer support and advice ranging from education and training to resource materials to one-on-one assistance with workforce and practice concerns. We hope you find information on the concept of self-advocacy, tools for enhancing your practice, self-assessment of your practice environment, clarification of the laws and rules that govern your practice and other pathways to empowerment.
If at any time you cannot find the information you are in need of, simply contact the Wisconsin Nurses Association at info@wisconsinnurses.org and the WNA staff will be happy to assist you.
2012
RN Workforce Survey
As
part of the 2012 RN License Renewal process all RNs must complete the RN
Workforce Survey. The purpose of the survey is to gain a better
understanding of the current nursing workforce in order to identify pending
shortages. For more information please read the RN FAQs.
