SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 450+ physician, multi-specialty clinic is actively recruiting three full-time (1.0FTE) Certified Nurse Midwives to join our busy OB/Gyn department. The new Certified Nurse Midwives will be skilled members of the healthcare team who provide primary health care to women focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the post-partum period, family planning and basic gynecological needs.

The Certified Nurse Midwife will also provide inpatient obstetrical care for low-risk patients including labor management, delivery and immediate post-partum care of infants, and management of minor complications as outlined in hospital privileges.  They will identify deviations from normal childbirth and consult with, co-manage with, or refer to a physician as appropriate. 

The Hospital

St. Mary’s Hospital has been serving South Central Wisconsin since 1912.  The hospital is a tertiary care facility with 350 beds that is used by the Dean physicians.   The hospital and the Dean Clinic work in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.  In addition to inpatient care, St. Mary’s provides a variety of outpatient diagnostic and treatment services.
