Workplace violence (WPV) toward nurses continues to be a growing concern across health systems and other licensed facilities throughout Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) has conducted a series of surveys over the past years and most recently the “2023 Workplace Violence Prevention Survey.” The 2023 survey assisted WNA in gaining a better understanding of workplace violence post-COVID-19 era and its impact on the nursing workforce.
This webinar will provide the landscape of workplace violence toward nurses in Wisconsin that include:
- Results and findings from the 2023 WNA survey.
- Impact of workplace violence on nurses physical and emotional well-being.
- Federal and state legislative and regulatory efforts that address the prevention and response to workplace violence.
- Recommendations for nurses and employers and other key stakeholders.
- Overview of WNA current and future work in addressing workplace violence against nurses.
Please join us for this one-hour webinar that will provide information on what can be done to address workplace violence toward nurses in Wisconsin.
