VIOLENCE is no stranger to the faith community both within congregations and in their community. The faith community is a place for healing and hope. Our September conference is planned to provide resources and information about three types of violence: bullying, domestic violence and assault/gun violence. This conference is designed to assist congregations and faith community nurses to prepare for these, and what responses can be utilized.  In addition, our afternoon will address how trauma/violence affects the congregation and ways to promote reconciliation, healing and hope. This conference is open to all.
