In our 9th annual conference we explored how health care, business professionals, non-profits, and organizations can work together to effectively improve primary health care delivery. The conference emphasized that making primary health care a significant value is critical to improving the nation’s health, enabling all in our diverse society to lead healthier lives, now and for generations to come.
The day-long event included expert presenters addressing the following topics:
- The emerging role of health professionals in team-based primary care
- Strategies to retain a quality, experienced, diverse and multi-generational workforce
- Delivering compassionate care in a technology-driven environment
- Teaching/learning strategies to prepare students for enhanced roles in primary care
