Conference Objectives
Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify culturally competent techniques to promote coordination of care, reduce fragmentation, and support cross sector collaboration.
  • Discuss how experiences, societal stereotypes, and cultural context impact personal interactions.
  • Address diversity in health professions that draws on the strength of all segments of society for building a healthcare workforce.
  • Apply culturally competent techniques to strengthen care for low birth weight babies and their families.

Student rate — $50.00
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Cancellations received prior to the conference will be charged a $25 administrative fee. There will be NO REFUNDS after the conference begins or for “no-shows.”
