Gina Dennik-Champion Presents the Future Nursing Leader Award to Milwaukee Area Technical College Graduate, Meredith Harding.

On December 8, 2015, WNA Executive Director Gina Dennik-Champion presented the Fall 2015 semester Future Nursing Leader award at Milwaukee Area Technical College’s nurse pinning ceremony to Meredith Harding.

The Future Nursing Leader Award is a new award that the Wisconsin Nurses Association will bestow upon 5 nursing graduates twice a year, for Spring graduates and Fall graduates. The award recognizes outstanding students who embody the ethics and values of nursing and exemplary leadership qualities.

Award winners will receive a complimentary year of membership in the Wisconsin Nurses Association, along with a hand-picked mentor, and an appointment to a WNA council or committee of his or her choosing. He or she will also receive a certificate and lapel pin presented at their pinning ceremony.
