This year we have an opportunity to support and elect four nurses that are running for the State Assembly.  WINPAC is the political action arm of the Wisconsin Nurses Association. The WINPAC Board of Trustees would like for you to meet the nurse candidates to learn about why they are running and what they would like to see accomplished for nursing and health care in Wisconsin during the next legislative biennium.

Rachel Cabral Guevara is running for the 55th Assembly District She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber since 2008. She is also is a small business owner and operates NPHS – Nurse Practitioner Health Services LLC in Appleton to provide afford and convenient healthcare to her community. Gae Magnafici is a retired RN who is running for a second term for the 28th State Assembly. Sara Rodriguez is running to represent District 13 in the Wisconsin State Assembly as a Democrat. Sara is a registered nurse and an experienced healthcare executive who has worked in a variety of leadership roles for over 20 years including recently founding a healthcare consulting firm. Emily Siegrist is a candidate for the 24th Assembly District. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, and a nurse educator, Emily served five years in the Army National Guard.
