These available modules review current and identify new evidence-based pharmacologic and clinical approaches to management of common conditions in primary and acute care, with the goals of safe prescribing practice and optimal therapeutic outcomes. A few other important points:
- The deadline to view your purchased modules and complete the online evaluation for CE credit is December 31, 2024. The evaluation can be completed right away after viewing the recording or you can complete it later (as long as it’s prior to the deadline). You will not be able to access purchased modules or their evaluations after December 31, 2024.
- Worth repeating … Your Order ID number (found in the order confirmation email) is required to access the evaluation form.
- A Certificate of Completion documenting the contact hours (including pharmacology/Rx hours) earned for completing a module will be emailed immediately after you “Submit Evaluation.”

Adults and ADHD…The Clinical Conundrum We Can’t Ignore

Jen Brandt is dually certified as both a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (from Vanderbilt) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (UW). Her clinical practice is at Group Health Cooperative in Madison where she sees children, adolescents, and young adults in the Behavioral Health Department. She is also the Co-Director of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Edgewood College.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Bipolar Disorder

Tammy has worked in child and adolescent psychiatry for the past 12 years, starting at Children’s Wisconsin to currently at ProHealth Care. She sees children from preschool t college years, with a variety of diagnoses including Anxiety, ADHD, Autism and Bipolar Disorder.

What Your ID Specialist Wishes You Knew

Presenter: Michael T. Richardson, MS, MPAS, PA-C - Infectious Disease Physician Assistant, Department of Medicine - University of Wisconsin-Madison
Michael is a graduate of the 2016 PA class from UW Madison and has been with the UW Health Infectious Disease department since October of 2017. His particular area of expertise is in post-operative infection management. He is also a very active preceptor and teaches both PA and NP students in their clinical years.

Migraines: New Treatments and Old Tricks of the Trade

Linda has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health/Primary Care since 1996. She completed the UW-Wisconsin Madison Headache Therapy Certification in 2003. Linda currently works at Willow Creek Women’s Clinic in Eau Claire - which she opened in 2006. We provide primary care services for women of all ages and in 2021 moved into our new location.

Focus on Men’s Health: Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy with LUTS, Erectile Dysfunction, and Prostate Cancer Screening

This session focuses on men’s health issues of Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS); Erectile Dysfunction; and Prostate Cancer Screening. We will discuss implications, risk factor reduction, and related medical therapy as indicated. Case studies, tips and pearls for management are included. Participants will be able to:
- Recognize lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy
- Understand treatment options
- Understand when symptoms warrant intervention and/or further evaluation
- Identify men at risk for postoperative urinary retention
Presenter: Bunmi Kumapayi, RN, MS, NP-BC - Nurse Practitioner, UW Health - UW Medical Foundation
Bunmi is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her Masters Degree from UW-Madison in May 2000. She has worked in the Urology Clinic at UW Hospital & Clinics, Madison, WI, for 22 years. Her practice is focused on both female and male urology, and she sees patients for acute and chronic urologic conditions that include, but not limited to, management of patients with irritative and obstructive voiding symptoms, urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, benign prostatic hypertrophy, erectile dysfunction, and prostate cancer screening. She serves as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students and also has an ongoing role of having UW Internal Medicine Residents observe her expertise in urologic care of patients in the UW Urology Department.
