The Wisconsin Nurses Association has a Healthy Nurse Task Force that emerged from a 2013 WNA Reference. A portion of the recommendation from the Reference called for addressing the nutritional and physical activity of nurses as a means of promoting the health of nurses in Wisconsin. The Task Force has completed its work and has recommended that a Mutual Interest Group that will promote and provide support and motivation to nurses wishing to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Given that National Nurses Week 2017 is the “Year of the Healthy Nurse: Balance your life for a Healthier You”, WNA is developing a Wisconsin Healthy Nurses Mutual Interest Group. We would like to invite you to join us to discuss the purpose, structure, and opportunities for nurses to join their colleagues through this proposed WNA supported group.
There will be a face-to-face luncheon meeting (with a call-in option) to begin the development of the mutual interest group on:
