It is with a sad heart that we want to share that after a short battle with cancer, WNA President Pamela Macari Sanberg, passed away yesterday at Hospice House/Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, WI.  We will be forever grateful for her years of service to WNA and the Nurses Foundation of Wisconsin; she will be greatly missed.

A Resolution of Memorium will be offered at the WNA Annual Meeting on Friday, January 22nd and will be published in the next issue of The Wisconsin Nurse and WNA’s website. Funeral and memorial arrangements are pending at this time.

WNA Vice-President Elizabeth Markham will formally take the Oath of Office as WNA President for a one-year term during the Annual Meeting.

Our thoughts are with Pam’s husband, John, and her son, Anthony, during this difficult time.
