Recognizing Excellence: Nominate a Future Nursing Leader for the Fall 2024 Award

The Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) is excited to announce the Future Nursing Leader Award, designed to honor exceptional nursing students who exemplify the highest ethics, values, and leadership qualities in nursing. We are now accepting nominations for the Fall 2024 semester, with a deadline of Friday, November 1, 2024.

The Future Nursing Leader Award aims to recognize one outstanding nominee from each School of Nursing. The WNA Awards Committee will select up to five award recipients. Winners will receive a special certificate, which will be presented virtually by a WNA representative at their school’s pinning ceremony. In addition, award recipients will enjoy a complimentary year of membership with both the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA). As part of this membership, winners will also have the opportunity to choose a WNA council or committee to join, allowing them to actively participate in shaping the future of the nursing profession.

How to Nominate a Student:

To nominate a student from your school’s Fall 2024 graduating class, please complete this nomination form. You will need to provide the student’s name and email address, along with a brief statement outlining why this student deserves the Future Nursing Leader Award. All nominations must be submitted by Friday, November 1, 2024.
