Join us for the Wisconsin Nurses Association’s Invitational Summit on June 21, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. The summit is a gathering of Wisconsin’s nurses aimed at addressing the current nurse shortage through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, ideas, and solutions. Our goal is to increase the visibility, value, and vital role of nurses in delivering healthcare across Wisconsin.

At the summit, nurses will come together to discuss information, share experiences and ideas, and reflect on the most important activities needed to advance nursing’s visibility, value, and vital role. The agenda includes discussions on workplace satisfaction, improving the image of nursing, recognizing seasoned nurses, education initiatives, and more.

Background: The Wisconsin Nurses Association has been actively involved in addressing the nurse shortage. Meetings held in September 2022 and December 2022 brought together various nursing associations to identify priorities and strategies. These efforts culminated in the decision to host the Invitational Summit to further address Wisconsin’s nurse workforce challenges.
