WNA Appreciates Senate Action on Override of SB 145 – APRN Licensure Bill

The Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) wants to share our appreciation to those State Senators who voted to override Governor Evers’ veto of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensure Bill SB 145. This action supports licensure of over 8,000 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and provides the opportunity to improve access to care for many people across Wisconsin.

Healthcare providers, like APRNs, are needed by Wisconsinites. SB 145 will allow APRNs to full practice authority just like the other 27 states.
