Gina Dennik-Champion, MSN, RN, MSHA, WNA Executive Director and Lobbyist provided WNA’s perceptions of the opioid abuse crisis in Wisconsin. She provided testimony to the two co-chairs of the Task Force, Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and Rep. John Nygren on the important role nurses can play in addressing addiction treatment and prevent. The invitational hearing took place at the State Capitol on November 28, 2016.
